Our history line; How did we start & how we got here
1977
Bruce started a small window and floor cleaning company ( Clear View Cleaning) starting with only 1 station wagon and a few piece of equipment Bruce began marketing to local business, as well as word of mouth, in 6 months he acquired more than 250 accounts, from there he began cleaning carpets and upholstery.
1978
The great Blizzard of “78” devastated the Boston area, melted ice and sea water rose over 5’, burying cars and destroying homes and property, the aftermath left thousands stranded in their homes, also many pets were left stranded as well. Bruce and his close companions joined forces with a local recue brigade to help the victims’ in the Point of Pines area in Revere, MA. Using a rescue boat (National Guard Military Amphibian) and scuba gear Bruce risked his life to save his neighbors and their furry companions. When the sea water finally dispersed, almost every home in the area had significate water and mold damage. Bruce traded in his window cleaning gear for drying equipment and Power Dry was born.
